A Service Dog is for a person with a disability that hinders their life. Here at Summer’s Dogs we specialize with Autism and PTSD tasks. A Service Dog is not only a part of your family, but a piece of medical equipment. Service dogs undergo extensive training to perform specific tasks related to their handler's disability. They are trained to be well-behaved, obedient, and to respond reliably to commands. While there is no official certification process for service dogs in the United States, they must meet certain standards of behavior and performance to be considered true service animals.

Training your dog while funding a future service dog!
With my training you are gaining my support and knowledge not only during lessons, but with at-home issues as well (House training as an example). My training methods focus on encouraging behaviors. This is great for dogs who have high food or toy drive. and to build a strong bond and loyalty. The dog learns to respect you. Dogs crave structure, a job, and a leader, through my training methods dogs learns all this. I don't want to only train your dog, I want to help you train your dog. Your dog may respect me, but if they don't respect you training can be pointless. Through this form of training your dog will live a happier life, and you will have a less stressful dog.
