Hi im Ebb King! I am the main trainer and director of Summer's Dogs. My whole life has been filled with well trained dogs thanks to my dad and im continuing the tradition.
Me and Partner Daniel own 5 GSDs and 4 cats out on our little homestead. We love our little pack and they defiantly keep us busy. They each have their own personalities and jobs within the family.
I got my love for dogs and German Shepherd Dogs from my Dad who also grew up with them. My first babysitter was King Man my dad's heart dog. In most of my early memories he is watching over me.
My love for Service Dogs and start of this path began while i was in college after my need for assistance become apparent. Summer was then my first Service Dog i trained with the help if my Dad.
Daniel has been a board member for the life of the program. Daniel grew up handfuls of rescue dogs over the years, where they found loving homes. Daniel takes the job of tolerance builder for the animals and technical man for the program.
Emily joined the board in 2023 with great enthusiasm.
Debbie has been on the the board since the beginning of the program. She has had several dog over their life where they are spoiled in everything they do. Debbie is great with ideas for marketing and exposure for the program.
Kyle is a Puppy Raiser for our Program dog Fin. Kyle has been a great addition to the program and does wonderful with socializing and training Fin to become a great Service Dog for his handler later on. Kyle has always been a dog lover and can't wait to see what his hard work can accomplish within the program.
Summer Time is the heart of the program and who it is named after. Summer is enjoying Service Dog retirement!
Summer loves soft baby dolls and will try to collect them all. She would carry them around with her all day if she could.
Summer was a rescue who needed a lot of love and help, but ended up helping me more.
Summer loves attention, she will wiggle her whole body in excitement. Her number one favorite thing is being with me though.
Bull is our Big Boy who is an old man in spirit and now also in getting their in body. Bull is an AKC German Shepherd Dog.
Bull loves to be told he is a good boy with head pets and belly rubs. He is a big love bug who just wants to be near you!
Bull is a healthy 115lbs and 28inches to the shoulder. He has a giant head with a great happy face and gentle eyes.
Bull's favorite toy is a boat buoy that he loves to show off to people. He also loves to play fetch with just about anything.
Storm is out "little"man who is a goofy dopey boy! He is an AKC German Shepherd Dog.
Storm loves to spread his big smiling face while being a therpy dog with Love on a leash. His favorite place to visit in the library for story time.
Storm is a health 120lbs and 33inches to the shoulder, but we are trying to build more muscles. He would be content to lay around all day like one of the cats if he could.
Storm wins the heart of everyone he meets by being such a gentle giant and with his laid back attitude. He spreads happyness everywhere he goes.
Lotti is our Little Lady and Summer's replacement as my Service Dog. She is an AKC German Shepherd Dog.
Lotti is our wild child, she is go go go all the time, and always ready for what ever we throw at her. She loves to just be going on adventures.
Lotti is 75lbs and 25inches to the shoulder. She runs her life as fast as she can, while also enjoying sunlit naps.
Lotti is still my problem child, but is so so smart and an amazing service dog. I cant wait to see how to continues to mature.
Ozark is Lotti and Bull's little girl and is training to be a service dog like her mom. She is an AKC German Shepherd Dog.
Ozark is doing amazing with her socialization and learning basic commands. I cant wait to see how she grows.
Ozark is 5 months old and 50 lbs. She is a great mix of her mom and dad. We are very proud of what the program has produced with her so far!
Ozark has big shoes to fill but we are positive she can fill them.
